And now the Summer Storms and Winter Rains Contest is officially over! The votes have been tallied, the authors revealed and now I'm happy to announce the winners!

First Place: Spark Deep by [livejournal.com profile] asher119

Second Place: a tie between Let Me by [livejournal.com profile] odd_stick and Beneath The Clouds by [livejournal.com profile] sakimus_prime

Third Place: also a tie! three ways between Weather Related Marital Problems by [livejournal.com profile] yami_samuraiflo, The Need To Fly by [livejournal.com profile] __wilderness__ and Poetry In Motion by [livejournal.com profile] mirage_shinkiro.

Authors, you may now cross post these stories to your own journals/communities and any of the other fandom communities you'd like. ^_^

Also, I need the first and second place winners (sorry third place guys! I can't afford prizes for everyone this month) ALL WINNERS to PM me with the prize you'd like to have. And for physical prizes, I'll also need your mailing address so that I can get it sent to you.

EDIT: an anonymous donor has stepped forward and offered to pay for prizes for the third place winners, so everyone will get their promised prize after all. just PM me with your choice and we'll get you taken care of. ^_^

Thanks for your participation, everyone! The next community activity will be announced in a day or two. (though, for you old hats, I bet you can guess what's coming next!)

Congratulations to [livejournal.com profile] asher119! That was an awesome story.

I loved all the others too. Such a shame we can only vote for one.

Thanks! It's up in my journal now, with the correct italics and formatting. My version didn't translate well to Eerian's comm, so when I re-uploaded it, I put in all the good emphases and what not. :) If you care to re-read it, that's where it shall live!

Thanks again. I enjoyed your story as well! The last scene was especially visual; I could so easily picture the two of them huddled under that tree! :)
